Project Deliveries in Abstract Polyverse brings tasks, assets, reviews, and milestones into one connected workspace, so teams can plan creative work without separating it from the files they are actually delivering.


Creative projects rarely struggle because teams cannot make a task list. They struggle because the task list and the creative work live in different places.

A producer may track a 3D model on a board, while the model itself sits in an asset library. Feedback might arrive in a review tool, a message thread, or an email. A revised version is uploaded, but the task still reflects the previous state. Before long, the team is spending as much time reconciling tools as moving the work forward.

Project Deliveries takes a different approach. Built into Abstract Polyverse, it connects production planning directly to the asset library. The task, the asset, its versions, its reviews, and its delivery status remain part of the same workflow from the moment work is planned to the moment it is delivered.

That is what makes Project Deliveries special: it does not simply place project management next to digital asset management. It seamlessly integrates them together.

The task and the asset begin together

In many production pipelines, creating a task and registering an asset are separate steps. Someone creates a card describing the work. Later, someone else uploads the asset and tries to connect it to that card. If either step is missed, or if the information changes in only one place, the plan and the library begin to drift apart.

Project Deliveries removes that gap. When a team creates an asset task, it can capture essential details such as the asset name, type, assignee, and delivery dates. That same information establishes the asset in the connected Polyverse library.

The result is simple but important: the team does not have to track a placeholder in one system and an asset in another. The work can be opened from Project Deliveries when someone needs planning context, or from the asset library when someone needs to work with the asset itself. Both views lead back to the same connected item.

As production begins, the team can upload asset data directly to the task or link an asset that already exists in a library. Updates remain visible across both Project Deliveries and the library, giving artists and producers different ways to work without creating separate sources of truth.

Plan around how production actually happens

Asset production is rarely a flat list of independent assignments. A prop may depend on an environment. A textured model may depend on an approved mesh. A key deliverable may require work from several people or libraries before it can be considered complete.

Project Deliveries makes those relationships visible. Tasks can be connected through dependencies, showing which work must be completed before something else can begin. In the Timeline view, those relationships appear alongside start and due dates, making it easier to understand the sequence of work and the effect of schedule changes.

Teams can then look at the same work from several perspectives:

  • Timeline provides a schedule-focused view across days, weeks, or months. Teams can adjust task durations, see dependencies, and preview the assets connected to the work.
  • Board organizes tasks by status in a familiar Kanban-style workflow, making it easy to see what has not started, what is in progress, what is under review, and what has been approved.
  • Dashboard offers a higher-level picture of project health, including overall progress, upcoming milestones, overdue tasks, work in review, team workloads, task statuses, and asset types.

These are not separate reporting layers that need to be maintained by hand. They are different views of the same tasks and assets. A team can focus on one library for a specific project or bring several libraries together to coordinate a broader initiative.

Keep reviews connected to the work

Review is often where disconnected production systems become most painful. Feedback refers to a specific version, revisions arrive through another channel, and someone has to determine whether every requested change was addressed before the asset can move forward.

Project Deliveries keeps that conversation inside the asset task. Team members can request reviews from other library members, who can be notified in Polyverse or by email according to their settings. Reviewers can leave comments, add visual markups to specific areas of a 3D asset, and choose whether to approve it, request changes, or reject it.

The feedback is not separated from the asset under discussion. Artists can see what needs attention, make the revision, upload a new version through the connected library, and return to the same task to resolve the feedback. Comments, decisions, versions, and activity history remain available as part of one traceable process.

Project Deliveries also reduces status maintenance. When asset data is uploaded and work begins, the task can move into “In Progress”. A review request moves the work into “ In Review”. Once all assigned reviewers approve the result, the task moves to “Approved”. Instead of asking someone to update a board after every handoff, the workflow itself communicates what is happening.

A connected workflow in practice

Polyverse is a full cloud DAM with real 2D and 3D asset processing built directly into it through Polytron microservices, not just storage and thumbnails, and Project Deliveries lives inside that same system rather than sitting on top of it as a separate tracker. Planning, review, and milestones come with it, so there’s nothing else to add to get a team from asset to approved delivery.

For teams moving off an older and disconnected asset setup, Polyverse Sync handles the migration by watching a local folder, hashing the files, and pushing them straight into a library, version history and all, so a team can start organizing that same work into tasks and milestones with Project Deliveries almost as soon as the sync finishes, instead of building a library from scratch first.

It gets more interesting alongside the rest of Abstract’s pipeline. Say a character asset comes out of one of Polyverse’s generative Polytrons, or gets modeled the usual way. It goes into InstaLOD for retopology to get the mesh ready for a game engine, then lands in the asset library as a task for review. A reviewer checks it and decides the topology’s fine but the surface needs work, so it moves into InstaMAT for texturing. From there it’s uploaded again, goes through review and approval, and once it’s signed off, the same asset drops straight into the scene the team is building together in RSX Engine. No exporting between disconnected tools at any point along the way, and no version left behind at a handoff.

Turn individual tasks into meaningful milestones

A project is more than the sum of its task statuses. Producers and stakeholders also need to know whether an important outcome, such as a playable game level, a completed character set, an approved environment pack, or a final architectural visualization, is on track.

Milestones connect that higher-level goal to the work required to achieve it. A team can define a milestone, set its target date, and connect the tasks required to reach it. A milestone can belong to a single library or span multiple libraries when an outcome depends on several workstreams.

As the linked tasks move forward, Polyverse calculates milestone progress and displays it in the Timeline and Dashboard views. Teams can see how close an objective is to completion, what is still outstanding, and when the next major delivery is due without maintaining a separate spreadsheet or manually counting cards.

This makes milestones more than labels on a calendar. They become a live reflection of the assets and tasks that define success.

One source of truth, viewed at every level

Project Deliveries supports the different ways people need to understand creative production:

  • An artist can open a task and see the asset, requirements, feedback, versions, and activity.
  • A reviewer can inspect the work, point to a specific issue, and make a clear decision.
  • A producer can organize dependencies, schedules, priorities, and ownership.
  • A lead can use dashboards and milestones to understand progress across one or more libraries.

Everyone sees the same underlying work, but at the level of detail appropriate to their role. That shared foundation reduces duplicate updates and makes it easier to trust what the system is showing.

Traditional project tools are designed to track almost any kind of work, so an asset is usually a link, an attachment, or a reference to something stored elsewhere. Project Deliveries starts inside Polyverse, where digital assets are already organized, processed, versioned, and shared. Planning, review, approval, and milestone tracking grow from that foundation.
