From Task Creation to Asset Delivery in Polyverse

From Task Creation to Asset Delivery in Polyverse

Discover how Polyverse turns asset production requirements into connected, trackable project delivery tasks. This video introduces task planning, dependencies, scheduling, asset assignment, and progress management within a unified workflow. You’ll also see how tasks remain synchronized with Polyverse’s asset libraries as work moves forward.

Effective asset production depends on more than a list of deliverables. Teams need clear ownership, useful context, realistic schedules, and visibility into how each task affects the wider project.

This Project Deliveries tutorial demonstrates how to create an asset task and define the information needed to guide production. A task can include a name, description, category, asset type, priority, library, assignee, and delivery dates. These details also establish the corresponding asset entry in the connected Polyverse asset library, helping teams organize work consistently from the start.

The video also introduces task dependencies. By identifying work that must be completed first, teams can communicate production order and visualize those relationships directly in the Timeline view. Scheduling changes are reflected in the timeline, making it easier to understand how connected tasks fit together.

Once production begins, the task provides a central place to upload or link asset data, update priority and status, track progress, and review activity history. The demonstration uses a coin asset created in InstaMAT and uploads it to Polyverse, where it is processed and assigned to the task. The task’s status automatically updates to reflect active work, while the asset remains accessible from both Project Deliveries and the asset library view.

Together, these connected views give teams a practical foundation for planning, producing, and managing project assets. The next video will explore reviews, approvals, change requests, and annotations in the 3D view.
