InstaLOD Comes to Cinema 4D and Omniverse — and That’s Not All!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Stuttgart, Germany – 2nd July 2026

Abstract, a deep-tech company pioneering cutting-edge 3D and AI technology solutions, announces the upcoming July release of InstaLOD 2026. This release ships two new integrations for Maxon Cinema 4D and Nvidia Omniverse, meeting those teams inside the tools they already rely on, and a new Quad Remesher that brings automatic quad topology generation to production workflows.

InstaLOD Comes to Maxon Cinema 4D and Nvidia Omniverse

Teams working inside Cinema 4D and Omniverse now have direct access to InstaLOD’s award-winning optimization technology. InstaLOD for Cinema 4D brings industry-leading mesh optimization and geometry processing directly into the tool that motion graphics, broadcast, and visualization teams have standardized on. InstaLOD for Omniverse closes the same gap for USD-based pipelines, giving Omniverse teams direct access to InstaLOD’s full geometry processing stack without leaving their environment.

A New Quad Remesher

InstaLOD Studio now includes an updated Quad Remesh mesh operation that automatically reconstructs dense or messy meshes into clean, all-quad topology designed for modern subdivision and production workflows. What typically takes hours of manual retopology can now be generated automatically—producing subdivision-ready quad meshes directly from the geometry you already have.

The Quad Remesh operation introduces two new modes that add adaptive quad layout generation for improved edge flow and more controllable results across a range of mesh types. In addition to generating quad meshes from triangulated inputs, the new Quad Remesher can also simplify quad mesh inputs, keeping only the edge loops and supporting flow needed for streamlined mesh creation.

Highlights:

  • Skip manual retopology: what used to take hours of manual edge loop placement is now automatic. Convert sculpts, scans, and high-poly models into production-ready quad meshes with the click of a button.
  • Subdivision-ready out of the box: Outputs are subdivision-ready designed to be subdivided smoothly with Catmull-Clark or other similar subdivision algorithms with no need for manual cleanup.
  • Faster iteration: Move from high-density concept sculpts to editable, low-poly base meshes without spending extra time on manual retopology workflows.
  • Quad mesh optimization: Reduce dense quad meshes to the minimum necessary loops and supporting edges for easier manipulation in DCC applications.

A complete technical breakdown of all new features and integrations will be published at launch next week.
